Personal Data Processed

Within the waiting list, only the following is processed:

• Email address — the address you type into the form yourself.
• Time of registration — the date and time you submitted the form.
• Source of registration — whether you used the form at the top or the bottom of the page.

No other data such as name, surname, phone number, date of birth or location is requested or stored. Hosting providers may temporarily keep connection data such as IP addresses in their own system logs for security purposes; we do not access those logs, do not use them for marketing, and do not match them against the waiting list.

Purposes of Processing

• to notify you when Sade launches,
• to send you the early access invitation,
• to prevent the same address being added to the list more than once.

Your address is not used for advertising, not sold, not rented, and not shared with third parties. No profiling is carried out and no automated decisions are made about you.

Legal Basis

Processing is based on your explicit consent under Article 5/1 of the KVKK. Reading the consent statement on the form and submitting it constitutes that consent. In addition, under Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, this consent is required before we may send you commercial electronic messages.

Your consent applies going forward and may be withdrawn at any time. On withdrawal your address is deleted from the list and no messages are sent to you.

Method of Collection

Data is collected entirely by electronic means, through the waiting list form on sade.social, and directly from you. No data is obtained from any other source.

Transfers and Processing Abroad

Your data is not transferred to any third party for marketing, sales or similar purposes. However, because our infrastructure providers operate servers outside Türkiye, your email address is in fact stored and processed abroad:

• Supabase — Database and serverless function hosting. Location: Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
• Cloudflare — Website hosting and content delivery network. Location: Global server network (US-based provider).
• Resend — Email delivery. Location: US-based provider.

This transfer is made on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 9 of the KVKK. The providers named above act as data processors; they may process the data solely to deliver their service and may not use it for their own purposes.

Retention Period

Your email address is kept until Sade launches and the announcement has been sent to you, and is deleted within six months at the latest after that announcement. If you withdraw your consent before then, your address is deleted without delay.

If the project does not go ahead, the list is deleted in full and the addresses on it are informed.

Age Limit

The waiting list is intended for people who are at least 18 years old. The address of anyone found to be under 18 is deleted as soon as this is identified. If you believe your child’s address is on the list, simply write to us.

Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK

As a data subject you have the right to:

• learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• request information if it has been processed,
• learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
• know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad,
• request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate,
• request erasure or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK,
• request that correction, erasure and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
• object to a result against you arising from analysis carried out solely by automated systems,
• claim compensation if you suffer loss due to unlawful processing.

How to Apply

To exercise your rights you may write to merhaba@sade.social or apply in writing to the address above, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Your application must state your request clearly and include information that allows us to identify you.

Depending on the nature of your request it is concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest. If the process incurs an additional cost, the fee set out in the tariff determined by the Board may be charged. If your application is refused, you retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board.

Changes

This notice may be updated. The current version is always published on this page and the "last updated" date above changes. If there is a substantial change that widens the purposes of processing, the addresses on the list are notified separately.
